Harrisons Covid Viewing Policy 2020

Harrisons Covid Viewing Policy 2020

Due to the recent announcement that estate agents can reopen their offices and conduct viewings again, Harrisons are taking health and safety of staff and the general public very seriously and will only arrange viewings if the following terms are met;

• You confirm that you have not shown symptoms of COVID19 for 14 days.
• We are completing virtual video tours of every property. You must watch the virtual tour first.
• If you still want to view after the virtual tour, you must be in a position to proceed financially i.e. first time buyer, nothing to sell or under offer with a complete chain.
• You must either speak with our mortgage advisor or send over financial proof that you have looked into your finances (i.e. Agreement/Mortgage in principle) before we book the viewing in for you.
• If the property is vacant, we will attend the appointment and open all doors prior to the appointment. We will then allow you to view the property on your own, however you must not touch anything.
• We request that you wear some form of face covering and protective gloves if possible and keep a 2meter distance from agents at all times.
• If the property is occupied, we have spoken with our sellers and advised of the above. If the seller is happy to allow you to view, you must keep a safe distance (2metres) apart and do not touch anything. We’ve advised our seller that the property should be disinfected and worksurfaces cleaned prior to your appointment and after.
• If an agent is attending the property and conducting the viewing on behalf of the seller, we have advised that the seller must clean the property prior to the appointment, leave all doors open, lights on and vacate the property.
• We advise that you bring hand sanitiser to clean your hands after the viewing has taken place.

All staff will be wearing, either a face mask or shield, gloves and shoe coverings and will be equipped with hand sanitiser.
As you can appreciate, we are taking this virus seriously and must ensure the safety of all. We appreciate your understanding at this time.
