Chris, Ryan, Olivia discussing the past, present and future

This morning we took part in discussing what we are all doing in this challenging time.

In these challenging times we wanted to make everyone aware of what we are currently doing to prepare for the future. In simple terms, our key role is to help people move on with their lives, however under the current circumstances there is not a huge amount we can currently do to achieve this.

We care about our past clients who we helped move. Ryan is touching base to have a chat and offering a new option which is our new social distancing market appraisal tool so if anyone is curious about the price of their home or considering moving once this passes, we can offer an accurate opinion of their home. If this is of interest you can click here.

Olivia is working on the present and has been phenomenal. We've never experienced anything like what we are currently experiencing and I'd say it's been the most challenging time for everyone involved. The reality and not a lot of people will know this, is this has taken a serious strain and we've had plenty of tears. However, Olivia has been resilient and nothing short of amazing in keeping clients calm and still achieving completions.

Chris is looking to the future and looking at new innovative ways to improve Harrisons and the customer experience. We've just signed up to Gazeal and have a unique system to speed the whole house selling and buying process along with securing sellers and buyers to a transaction. For anymore information on this, Chris would be happy to discuss with you, please send an email to chris@harrisonsresidential.com.

Not forgetting Sophie, Carole, Susan and Jack, who have been designated as 'Furlough' workers. All four have been very understanding and are a huge part in Harrisons moving forward and are ready to get back in to the swing of things when we can and do what they do best which is selling houses.

You may have seen property gurus filling up your social media feeds with tales of how they bought a number of properties without using any of their own savings, and now they have retired at the age of 32 with a portfolio worth £10m. And of course, for the princely sum of £997, you can learn how to do this too.

Should you haggle with the agent over their fees? Is it true that if they can't negotiate well with you, they won't be any good when you get an offer? Or does it start the relationship off on the back foot?

Since 2004, we have been helping families across the UK handle challenging property sales with the utmost care. Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experiences, our team understands the emotional and logistical complexities involved in selling a property during probate or when assisting a family member into care.

Just like when you first purchased your home, selling your property for the first time can feel complex. But with the right preparation and guidance, you can achieve a smooth, successful sale.
