Three Lions on our shirts!

Three Lions on our shirts!

The staff at Harrisons were busy this weekend watching England's Lionesses make history with their first ever Euro final and even better, becoming Euro 2022 champions!

Fresh from a weekend of jubilant celebrations, we wanted to share with you what connects those iconic Three Lions on their shirts with our local town of Faversham, as well as give a shout out to a team of incredible mini local Lionesses over at Faversham Strike Force, who we sponsor.

Faversham's Three Lions

With our very own 'did you know?' moment, Faversham have a great claim to football fame!
Faversham's civic coat of arms based on the Royal Arms of England, Faversham is the only English club side to have a badge depicting three lions passant guardant, similar to that of the England nation team.

How amazing that you live in or near a town who can proudly show off their own three lions!

Local Lionesses!

Recognising the talent and hard work behind women's football, Harrisons proudly sponsor a team of superstars who play for Faversham Strike Force.

The under-9 Lionesses are a fierce team of players, who show up each week and always strive for their very best. They show their families, their coaches and us how their efforts turn into achievements, and we hope they continue for a long time and are inspired by England's historical weekend win. Keep up the good work, girls!

Recovery needed!

As we recover from the finals and rewatch the winning goals, we wanted to wish England's Lionesses a huge congratulations.

They've shown hard work, courage and grit through the Euro games, and demonstrated what can happen when you thrive in your sport, focus on the game and work together as a team.

We are certain this is the beginning of many similar opportunities, and that many girls and women countrywide who have been considering taking up football can do so, and follow in their footsteps.

It's home!

If you’re hoping to be in your new home by Christmas, time is running out. With UK sale timelines now topping 200 days from listing to completion, September may be your last chance to start the process. Here’s what you need to know before it’s too late…

Choosing a new home isn’t just about the property itself – the neighbourhood plays a huge role in your quality of life. From schools and transport links to local shops and community spirit, here’s what to look out for when deciding if an area is right for you.

Selling your home should be exciting, not stressful. Yet too many sellers across Sittingbourne, Sheppey and Faversham find themselves stuck on the market, watching weeks slip by with no serious offers.

If your home has been on the market for over three months, you’ve probably heard the same advice from your agent: “We need to reduce the price.”
