Agents have been asked to use their judgement on whether it is necessary to do face to face appointments, we decided it wasn't and it has made national news.

The news that we were moving into tier 4 was hardly surprising, we are based in Swale, a part of the country where Coronavirus infection rates have been widely reported as rising. What was surprising was that for estate agents we could continue as usual.

We took the decision, given the infection rates in our area that we would suspend in person appointments until the new year, and review the situation then.

It seems that our stance on this has raised some debate within the industry, with two national publications leading with our story today, asking the question "Should agents scrap viewings in Tier 4 areas?"
