How to get my offer accepted
As we adapt to life after lockdown, we've had to adapt the way that we work on a daily basis, here we explain how you can maximise your chances of securing your new home in Sittingbourne.
The local housing market is booming. This isn't an estate agents spin, its a fact. Whilst buyers have been getting everything in place to put them in the best position to view properties and make an offer. As a result properties are moving very quickly, and often are agreeing offers in excess of the asking price.
Whilst this is great for vendors, it can be very disheartening for buyers, especially if, due to social distancing guidelines, you can't get in to view the properties you are interested in.
Here at Harrisons Residential, we take the safety of our vendors, buyers and staff very seriously, therefore we have created three groups of buyers, and in an effort to minimise the number of viewings that physically take place, we prioritise "Hot Buyers" for viewings.
What is a hot buyer and how do I get prioritised for viewings?
We have created three groups as follows:
- Hot Buyers - You are able to proceed with a purchase (you are chain free or have a property that is under offer). You have a mortgage in principle agreed.
- Buyers - Your home is on the market but not yet under offer. You are chain free, or under offer but you haven't had your mortgage in principle agreed.
- Interest - You want to view property ahead of putting your home on the market or you don't have a mortgage in principle agreed.
For safety reasons, we are trying to keep viewings to a minimum, as a result we have prioritised Hot Buyers for viewings.
If you want to view the properties we are listing, you will need to ensure you are in the position of being a hot buyer.
