Traditional Agent

Our values and methods are long established; we understand the needs of both buyer and seller and work proactively to ensure a successful sale. Your property will be marketed on all the major property portals, but we use a wide variety of traditional and innovative marketing strategies to achieve the best price for your home.

Market Appraisal

When valuing your property, our valuer will be realistic based on current market conditions and will give you the right advice for your circumstances. We understand that giving an over-inflated price to win business is not a successful model, and we will discuss where the property should be priced amongst the competition.

Gazeal

Once your property is listed with us, we will discuss how to get your home ‘sale ready’ and explain the benefits of using a reservation agreement. Harrisons are the only local agent to be offering this service to secure you a committed purchaser.

Sales

Olivia (Head of Customer Success) is passionate about the experience you have with us, so as soon as your home is listed she will call to arrange an appointment for herself and the sales consultants to come and view your property. This is so they know what it is they’re selling when actively promoting your property, providing the best viewing experience for the buyer and, ultimately, for your sale.

The property will not be released online in the first week. This is so the sales consultants can contact our priority buyers first, all of whom have been financially qualified and are able to move forward with a house purchase. On day five, the rest of our mailing list will also be contacted regarding your property.

The following week, you will receive full updates on the results of the call-out, including feedback on your property, how many people had a virtual viewing, and feedback from any physical property viewings. If there are no offers in this time, the property will be released online.

On the 14th day, the Harrisons team will review the overall activity on your property and collectively discuss how we move forward. The above actions will be repeated and if the property has not been sold by week four, the valuer will arrange to come and meet with you and discuss a re-positioning in the market.

Agreed Sale

Olivia will continue to support you once a sale has been agreed, throughout the sales process and towards exchange and completion. Initially ,Olivia will wish to know your contact preferences so she can keep you informed, as well as talking through what’s going to happen next. From there on, she will provide you with regular updates on the progress of your sale and any chain involved, guiding you through next steps and answering any questions you have.

Over the years we have gone from strength to strength, and recently we’ve been selected to become a member of the Federation of Independent Estate Agents (FIA). In 2019 we were recognised as one of the top 3% of estate agents in the country and awarded ‘Outstanding’ – we would like to achieve this again in 2020.

We are proud members of NAEA Propertymark, who promote the highest standards in residential sales. NAEA Propertymark members are required to pass qualifications, update their compliance, and meet Propertymark’s obligations. By being members of Propertymark, we limit any uncertainties consumers may have surrounding estate agents.

Our office in Sittingbourne has recently been refitted to create a modern and welcoming area for our clients. Instead of an imposing set of desks at the front, we have a relaxed lounge area, where we can make our clients a cup of tea or coffee and discuss their needs. Our whole ethos is about customer service, trustworthiness, and to consistently be the top-performing agent in the area.
