Chris Ellis Invited to join the Agents Advisory Board

There are many reasons why Harrisons were awarded Gold for being the best Estate agents in Kent at last years ESTA Awards, but the exciting news that Chris has joined as a Member of the Agents Advisory Board is definitely one of the top.

Our Chris is an industry expert when it comes to buying and selling property, but with a genuine care for his customers, he wanted to go that extra mile to ensure that there are new ways to protect them.

The Agents Advisory board are a group who advise National Trading Standards and the UK Government to help shape the direction in which home movers steer their experiences. As it stands, the home moving system does not offer enough upfront information to buyers and we see so many sales fall through during the slow process.

We could wait for new legislation, but why would we do that when we can transform and reshape the future of estate agency ourselves!

We are promising to ensure the security for both buyers and sellers by offering more upfront buyer information and faster transaction times and by advising National Trading Standards and the UK Government, we aim to improve the moving process as a whole in England and Wales. It is both extra helpful to us and reassuring that we have direct lines to the policymakers at both agencies in order to achieve maximum protection for you, the customer.

New and innovative ways of moving the process of moving forward is to create a reservation agreement, whereby if somebody offers to buy, nobody can back out at the last minute. This can happen and is detrimental to any seller, especially if within a chain.

Chris is absolutely honoured to be a part of this forward-thinking team with industry heavyweights including Bryan Mansell, Jim Harris, Chris Ellis and Alex Knight.

Here’s to the future of Estate Agency!
